Handling of Personal Information

Nature Gate Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Nature Gate') has established this Privacy Policy to govern the handling of personal information and specific personal information (including individual numbers and personal information that includes individual numbers) (hereinafter collectively referred to as 'personal information'). Nature Gate hereby declares that it will comply with this policy and handle your personal information safely and appropriately.

  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations

    NATURE GATE shall comply with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act"), the "Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures" (hereinafter referred to as the "Number Act"), and other relevant laws, guidelines, and this Privacy Policy when handling personal information.

  • Collection of Personal Information

    NATURE GATE shall collect personal information through appropriate and fair means, and except for cases recognized as exceptions under the law, it shall notify or disclose to the individual in advance the purpose of use, or notify or disclose it promptly after acquisition. The scope of personal information acquired by NATURE GATE shall not exceed what is necessary to achieve the predetermined purpose of use. When NATURE GATE acquires sensitive personal information, except for cases recognized as exceptions under the law, it shall obtain the prior consent of the individual.

  • Use of Personal Information

    Nature Gate shall use personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the predetermined purpose of use, except as otherwise provided by law. In the case of specific personal information, it shall be used only within the scope defined by law.

  • Provision of Personal Information

    NATURE GATE will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties other than business outsourcing partners, jointly used companies, and business succession entities without the consent of the individual, except in cases where it is permitted by law. When NATURE GATE provides personal information to third parties located abroad, except in cases where it is permitted by law, it will obtain the prior consent of the individual.

  • Management and Protection of Personal Information

    NATURE GATE will take necessary and appropriate security measures to manage personal information, such as prevention of leakage, loss, or damage, and will also provide adequate supervision to employees and contractors who handle personal information. When the purpose of using personal information is achieved and the legally mandated retention period has elapsed, Nature Gate will promptly dispose of or delete the personal information.

  • Disclosure and correction of personal information

    NATURE GATE will respond in accordance with the provisions of the law when requested by individuals, etc., for disclosure or other actions regarding their personal information.
